Noh mask works

For seeking to work with wood, he started to make Noh mask with the age of 40 after leaving the company he had worked for.  He devoted himself for becoming the Noh mask artist and has got several prizes.  Noh mask changes its expressions by movements.   The actor called SHITE wears a mask  for playing the principal role in Noh play and deep sentiment such as  sorrow emerges from this mask while SHITE plays.  Mr. IBA discovered his original way of making masks for deepening mask's expressions and his excellent works have been acknowledged by Japanese as well as people from abroad.
